HR Specialist/Counselor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in HR functions such as recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration, as well as counseling and coaching skills. The HR Specialist will be responsible for providing confidential counseling services to employees, assisting with recruitment efforts, and supporting the HR team in various functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide confidential counseling services to employees dealing with personal or work-related issues that impact their job performance or well-being
  • Assist in Recruitment – Post job openings, source candidates, review resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate the hiring process
  • Design and implement programs that support work-life balance, mental health, and stress management
  • Provide coaching and feedback to managers and employees to support the performance management process
  • Manage employee relations issues and ensure that the organization maintains a positive and productive work environment
  • Develop and implement performance evaluation systems, including 360-degree feedback, goal setting, and performance appraisals
  • Design and deliver training and development programs to improve employee skills, knowledge, and job performance

what we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR functions such as recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration
  • Clinical Counseling experience and training in coaching and counseling techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
