SUMMARY

As a Windows DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our IT operations by optimizing, automating, and streamlining our Windows-based infrastructure and deployment processes. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Windows-based systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools to deploy, configure, and manage Windows servers, applications, and services using technologies such as PowerShell, DSC (Desired State Configuration), and configuration management tools.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Develop monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability, and health of Windows servers, applications, and infrastructure components. Configure alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the business.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance policies for Windows environments. Work closely with the security team to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data, and to address any vulnerabilities or threats.
  • Capacity Planning and Scaling: Monitor resource utilization and performance metrics to forecast capacity requirements and scale Windows infrastructure as needed to accommodate growth and demand.
  • Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Provide support for troubleshooting Windows-related issues and incidents, including root cause analysis and resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and best practices related to Windows infrastructure and DevOps processes. Share knowledge and mentor junior team members to facilitate skill development and cross-functional collaboration.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience as a Windows systems administrator or DevOps engineer in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and related services.
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • (Bonus) Experience with VueJS or other JS language, others like PHP/Laravel plus also.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • 1 Fully Functioning Desktop or Laptop – 1 for backup.
  • Intel Core i5 or higher – 16 GB Ram or more multitasking.
  • Backup for Power Outage – Generator/UPS or Alternative Location.
  • Headset with Noise Canceling feature.

NETWORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Internet Connection of 25mbps or more.
  • Backup internet service of 5mbps or more.
