WordPress Developer

Summary

We’re looking for a talented WordPress developer to create visually appealing and functional websites for our clients. You will be in charge of both back-end and front-end development, as well as WordPress theme and plugin implementation, site integration, and security updates.

Responsibilities

Meeting with clients to discuss website design and functionality.
Creating the website architecture and designing and building the front end.
Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
Creating WordPress plugins and themes.
Conducting website performance tests and troubleshooting content issues.
Conducting WordPress training with the client.
Monitoring and maintaining the performance of the live website.

Requirements

Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
Expertise in PHP or HyperText Preprocessor, which manages content and communicates with databases while also controlling plugins, third-party integrations, and so on.
Knowledge and experience with front-end technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
Expertise in JavaScript, the client-side scripting language. It’s an advantage if knowledgeable on one or two JS libraries and frameworks like Angular and Vue.JS.
Basic Photoshop skills are required to convert PSD to WordPress.
Knowledge and experience in Bootstrap and MySQL frameworks, as well as HTML components such as Navigation Bar, Breadcrumbs, Forms, Modals, Carousel, and the like- for customization to effectively address the client’s needs.
Expertise in using Github and Bitbucket for software maintenance, Git code management, and building quality software with code review.
Basic SEO knowledge is required to create a unique and appropriate web page to increase traffic on website using organic search results
Experience and knowledge of Command Line Tools are required to create your workflow as efficiently as possible.
Understanding of version control as a tracking system for every change made to projects.
